Request a refund.


Here's how to open a dispute to receive a refund:

  • Log in to your PayPal account.
  • Click Resolve a problem in our Resolution Center near the bottom of the page.
  • Click Report a problem.
  • Click Report a problem.
  • Select I have a problem with an item I purchased, and then click Continue.
  • Click Find Transaction ID.
  • Click the Transaction ID next to the transaction you want to dispute, and then click Continue.
  • Select the reason for your dispute, and then click Continue.
  • Enter additional information on the Provide Additional Information page, and then click Continue.
  • Click Go to Resolution Center.


How to request a refund from the Play store:

You’ll usually get a decision within 15 minutes, but it can take up to to two business days. If your refund request is approved, you will lose access to the purchased item.
